stayed for 2 nights for my son's polo tournament. it is an older property, one of the original old motor lodges along the old highway 99. it has been updated since then and perhaps needs another refurbishing soon but the place was clean, quiet, and comfortable considering it was at full capacity for a wedding party. found out it was independently owned and operated which probably explains the refurbishing issue and took that into account when rating this propperty.
i had a king room. check in was very easy. front desk staff very pleasant and courteous. rene even offered me booklets on things to do in lodi. it is a 2 building two story property with outside room access. the bed, desk, chair, tv armoire, and refrigerator/microvave were kinda squished towards the back of the room which made getting to the other side of the bed a tight squeeze. their full hot breakfast included waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, and biscuits and gravy. typical assortment of pastries, breads, and cereals. good assortment of teas. would have liked to have had some yogurt and fresh fruit other than apples but the breakfast definitely helped start the day with a full stomach.
the small lobby has a computer and printed and a basket of apples. there's washer/dryer available if you need it. didn't use the pool so can't comment on it other than to say the kids and people using it seemed to be enjoying themselves.
