Managed to get a gorgeous twin room here a couple of weeks ago. Hosts helpful and informative and warmly welcoming. The room was spotless, quiet and well appointed. And the breakfasts!!!!! We do like a good full Scottish and the menu choice here is second to none. Beatifully cooked salmon without an additional charge. It was al just perfect and we were lucky to find it.

Very efficient communication regarding my booking; no deposit required. A warm welcome upon arrival. Excellent accommodation and superb breakfasts. very helpful with local knowledge of walks, places to eat etc.
I cannot praise the Polcraig too highly.

Just came back from Lochinver : we stopped at the Polcraig on the way back from Orkney, and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the guest house. A very friendly welcome, comfortable beds, good central location, good free wifi and an excellent breakfast : what more could you want ?

We stayed at the Polcriag Guest house after arriving on the ferry from Stornaway....what a delight the place is. The welcome was warm and genuine. The whole place give an inpression of being loved and cared for. The rooms were very comfortable and very well appointed. At breakfast in a lovely dining area playing softly played scottish music we met a man staying there and fishing in the area...he informed us it was is 10th year there and I can fully understand way...it is a lovely place to stay. The breakfast was well cooked and presented well. We will go back when we are next in that neck of the woods......it certainly is an hidden gem. Thank you
