Absolutely gorgeous setting and the courtyard is idyllic, we stayed in the Parlour which 5 years ago was a milking parlour! Our bedrooms were massive and the double bedroom was complete with a corner bath, the twin room had in fact three single beds and a walk in shower room. There was another toilet and sink downstairs. Lovely IKEA inspired decor and lots of extras like a welcome basket with the most beautiful homemade wheaten bread! Milk, butter and eggs in the fridge and lots of lovely fresh air. Beside us was the Den, downstairs was a big TV with freeview channels and heaps of DVDs and Videos to use, lots of boxed games and kiddies toys. Outside was a small play area with round swing, sandpit and climb on stuff. Best for us was upstairs where there is a very well equipped gym room which is accessible via a code box on the door, a great pool table which only cost one euro to play and a free air hockey table. All in all a really amazing place, not the cheapest selfcatering but for a short break it is ideal.

We very much enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful and very clean location in a very nice area. Very central to the Hill of Tara and other places.

Really enjoyed our stay in Decoy. The cottages are 5*. Lovely little play area with a sandpit which our 3 year old really enjoyed. The Den was also great for our one rainy afternoon where we settled in and read every dinosaur book on the shelves! A very safe and secure place for children. Beds are SO comfy! We had three bathrooms which was ample. The welcome basket was most welcome! We could have happily stayed put for our few days but did a bit of day tripping. Can highly recommend Red Mountain Open Farm for kids. About 25 mins drive from Decoy. We availed of the Day Spa at Decoy and both had a massage and I had a beauty treatment. The massages were out of this world. My husband is particularly picky but would definitely return for another aromatherapy massage. Really can't fault the place at all. Go, Relax and Enjoy!
