“Incrediably helpful host and hostess”

We stayed at Ash Cottage in 2009. When we arrived for a return trip, Peter remembered the sacred sites that we visited the year before and had copied information about Fore Abbey from the internet and drew a map for us. It was like being welcomed by old friends. Nora was equally helpful and cooked a great breakfast! They both were up at 6am to ensure we were well fed before heading to the airport (btw, this is a great location if you need to get to the airport). The room was freshly painted and very clean. They take great care of the B&B. The location is great to be able to visit Tara, Loughcrew, New Grange and Fore Abbey. They epitomize Irish hospitality.

“Comfy accommodations in bustling city”

My mother and I stayed at the Ash Cottage rather by accident- the original accommodations we booked were cancelled due to plumbing issues. Peter and Nora graciously invited us into their comfortable home, and we so enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was delicious and filling, and the restaurant Peter suggested the night before was convenient and meal filling. We enjoyed the upstairs bedroom, and were warm and snug in our room. Thanks to Peter and Nora!

“HOME FROM HOME”

Stayed at Ashcottage B&B in January,Rooms were great ,very clean and comfortable,received a great welcome from Peter&Nora Byrne, very good breakfast ,lovely homemade brown bread, Booked a weekend in August with Peter and Nora before we left .

“Bright, Cheerful & Clean!”

We stayed at Ash Cottage on two different occasions in November 2009. The rooms are bright, cheerful and spotlessly clean, as is the breakfast room. The breakfast was very good, particularly Mrs. Byrne's excellent home-made brown bread. Mr. and Mrs. Bryne are cheerful hosts and have a wealth of information to share about the area.
