Our stay at Eolo was amazing, so worth the price. We don't usually like to stay in places that cost this much, we find we like the mid range places better because we meet people who are more interesting, and we don't need the poshness of the upper echelon. But we couldn't find another place that we liked in the area, so we went with Eolo, and I am SO GLAD we did. The food is impeccable. Lunch and dinner and three course meals. We had a bottle of wine the first night, and they held it for us for the next night. Our room was spectacular! The bathroom was lovely, excellent water pressure, although the water temperature was inconsistent (sometimes not really hot). The hotel was very wheelchair friendly, although a temporary ramp to the main living room/ seating area was very steep, and the transfer into the tub was a bit of a stretch. Wifi worked well throughout the building. Breakfast was good: eggs, bacon, breads, cold cereal, tea/coffee, juice. We had the bag lunch one day: it was horrible and quite a departure from the amazing meals at the hotel. We loved the 4x4 adventure (you get to the top of a mountain you would not otherwise see), the zipline, and a walk on the dirt road.
