This hotel is in a perfect location, situated between the mountains and 5 minutes from 'The Strip' where there are loads of bars, restaurants and shops. Its the perfect place for a spot of paragliding and you can watch them swooping about in the sky, looks brilliant. The beach is just outside the gates of the complex, the only downside is that it is pebbly and the waves can be rough and 3 steps in and you're out of your depth, so no good for less confident swimmers. Also, you have to pay 6TL (about £2.50) for a sunbed and 6TL for an umbrella. However, there is a free bus shuttle service to the Blue Lagoon which is 5 minutes away, they drop you off at 10 am and pick you up at 5pm. Its the perfect place to swim and is very peaceful and idyllic, although the downside to this is that you have to pay for food and drink and although its part of the complex, I think its a bit off if you've paid to be all inclusive.
You can swap beach towels every day for a 20TL deposit which you get back at the end of the holiday. There are safety boxes in your room along with aircon, which is a must!
The grounds are kept clean and tidy, lovely gardens and flowers all round the complex. Towels and sheets changed every day in the rooms, which are cleaned daily. We had a ground floor room which opened onto gardens and it was just two storeys high so you dont feel like you are crowded in, there is plenty of space.
The buffet restaurant is pretty standard stuff, there's plenty of meat dishes, salads, fish, fruit, its not 5 star but it does the job. There is a snack place called the Olive Garden which serves burgers, chips and the like and tea and cake in the afternoons. I'd say it was average! The icecreams are only served between 12-2pm which I thought was a bit off, most people would like an icecream in the afternoons, not straight after lunch!
There are 3 pools, one for adults, one for activities with a slide and games, and one to just dip or sit in with a kiddies pool on the side. This one has a bar which is open till midnight, after that you have to pay for your drinks. Cocktails are only offered free from 8-9pm, otherwise you have to pay for them too! There is also a bar near the activities pool.
There is entertainment on every night from dancing groups, fire eaters, games and always a disco at the end.
All the staff are very friendly and helpful, special mention for Kenan, our lovely waiter who looked after us all the time and the lovely sweep up man in the gardens who always had a smile for us!
On the whole, this was a good holiday resort but as I love the beach, I probably wouldnt choose that part again. I've been to Turkey a few times and the beaches were always sandy so it was a bit disappointing although as I said, the Blue Lagoon made up for it.
I would recommend this hotel for all ages!
