As soon as you walk through the doors you can tell why, this hotel is a 5 star property!

I loved the decor throughout the hotel. The quirky feel made it feel fun and the luxury items just added that extra luxurious touch.

We received a friendly greeting upon arrival, which included a mini tour of the guest areas. The garden areas are neat and the rose bushes were lovely.

All the leisure facilities (spa, sauna, indoor heated pool & steam room) is such a treat. The pool towels in a canvas holder and crocs are very handy and a unique touch.

Our room was elegantly decorated & was quite spacious. It had all the luxury amenities we needed. We enjoyed the lavazza coffee machine.

We did have a little incident, where one of the water bottles burst overnight in the fridge. But as soon as we called in the morning, someone came to attend to it within 5 minutes.

Breakfast the next morning was yummy! There was plenty to choose from the buffet selection and a hot menu with delicious dishes. The buffet spread was laid out so beautifully and I appreciated the attention to detail that was put in. All those little jars, were so cute !

we will def return one day

We stayed in the pool suite and it was lovely. The room is decorated very tastefully. The service was impeccable, efficient and friendly. The dining experience at Makaron was very nice but the breakfast really wins it all!!!
We will definitely consider going back to Majeka House for a special occasion or may be just when we feel like a bit of pampering.

First hand ...this is an an immaculate property, the decor, food, service all excellent!!!! a few hiccups when we checked in, an opened wine bottle in the fridge, no ashtray once confirmed there was one on the porch and a broken TV but the negatives do not come close to the properties positives. All the issues mentioned above were handled swiftly and in the most professional manner by Jennifer ..she offered magnificent service to ensure that we were comfortable. The decor is absoloutely fantastic along with the taste explosion in the restaurant. One night is not enough to explore what the his hotel has to offer ...Definitely a memorable experience and would love to return very very soon.

We recently had the opportunity to visit Majeka House and were not disappointed. In fact, you do not 'visit' Majeka House, you experience it - and what an exceptional experience.

The rooms are immaculate and careful attention has been given throughout. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the dining experience was at a level that would rival some of the finest hotels in the world. Our dinner at Makaron (restaurant within Majeka House) can best be described as an adventure on a plate, as each element of our dishes was unique and a true sensory experience.

As a seasoned traveller, I can honestly say that Majeka House is one of the finest hotels I have ever visited. You will not be disappointed!

We were fortunate enough to stay a night at Majeka House a few weeks ago, and what a treat it was... From the decor to the food, our eyes and mouths were satisfied. The food at the in house restaurant, Makaron, was absolutely amazing! We had the Rib eye and the Springbok, which for those who have never tried Springbok, its well worth it! Melt-in-your-mouth. The room was beautifully designed and decorated, with a center hanging TV that could rotate to either watch from the comfort of your bed in front of the gas fire place (perfect for the colder nights!) To top it off, the breakfast the next morning was a royal feast, with the biggest buffet selection and the best fried mushrooms with my eggs. Lastly the spa was heavenly, we were treated to the Himalayan Crystal Salt bed, with the most friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be back again!

Room tip: Try opt for one of the Suites if available, well worth it.
