We stayed at Denali Touch of Wilderness during our recent trip to Alaska. We rented a car and the inn was a short drive to the park's entrance. The breakfast is continental-style but they have a lot of choices. You pre-order your egg/meat choices the day before and then re-heat them the next morning. Other options include a selection of muffins and cereals, fruit salad, and waffles. You can also orderbox lunches. The inn was very nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay and thought it was a good value. They also have free wi-fi.

I stayed at Touch of Wilderness on a trip to Denali NP. It's well situated just north of Healy, and only about 15-20 minutes from the park entrance. I wasn't sure about staying outside the immediate park entrance area, but am glad I avoided that area.

The B&B is situated just a few miles off the highway in a very pleasant setting with mountain views. The large windows in the common area are great for viewing the sky, and wildlife that may happen by.

The breakfast was very good. There are also common areas stocked with books and games (and a big TV if you want). In short, it's a great jumping off point, but can also serve as a very nice spot to kick back after hiking.

Although is was a a bit more pricey than other B & B's, it was worth the extra. The rooms were very clean, neat and comfortable. The location outside of town provided the quiet we were looking for. The breakfast selection was generous and even though you had to reheat your breakfast it provided the flexibility to schedule your activities without worrying about missing breakfast. There were plenty of breakfast combinations to choose from. Everything we ate was tasty.
We would love to stay here again. The staff was friendly and helpful. The common areas were comfortable and the access to a computer was very convenient.

This was my husband's favorite of all our Alaska lodgings. It's not new, but it's comfortable and the views from the upper level dining area are spectacular.

Our room was spacious, and we slept well there. There are plenty of common areas, with self-serve beverages and refrigerators available. There several options for seating, games, etc. This would be a fine place for a group or large family vacation.

The cooked breakfast is made the day before, and left for the guests to heat and eat, so there are no worries about scheduling: eat at your own convenience. There are also plenty of "continental" options to supplement the hot items. That said, a pre-cooked and reheated breakfast does not compare well to one that is cooked to order. During busy times, it was difficult to get enough microwave time to fully heat the food and get it all hot at once.

There is an internet computer available in one of the common rooms.
