We liked EVERYTHING about our stay. At frist, we thought it being 12 miles or so from Denali Natl Park would be a drawback but this B&B was well worth the extra few miles of driving. And we saw two moose just a mile from our lodging!

Pros: Very Quiet, Wonderful Breakfast, and Incredibly Friendly Owner

Cons: Nothing!

We stayed in the SImplier Times room, which had private access from the parking lot. The room had a queen bed and a double bed and was very roomy. Excellent stay. Would stay here again anytime! We had never stayed in a B&B (late 20's couple), but really enjoyed our first experience!

We stayed here two nights in August. It's a short drive from Denali, which really isn't bad, and we saw about a dozen moose on the road between the highway and the B&B. The rooms were well appointed. My biggest gripe is I thought, as a B&B goes, the breakfast is about as weak an effort as I've seen at a B&B. Granted, they have to deal with various schedules, people rising early to hit the park, etc. But your breakfast, whether you are getting up early or not, is basically a prescrambled egg and whatever meat you requested stuck in a zip-loc bag, and it's up to you to microwave it in the morning. For the money being charged, that seemed cheap. I think if I were returning to Denali area, I'd try one of the other B&Bs...

We have stayed here several times over the past five years or so, and have always found it to be a high quality, consistent place to stay. There were a couple of cost-cutting changes made this year, but they were minor to us. The breakfast is now self-serve, but we actually like that better than before as there is more flexibility with timing, seating, and food choices. The hot tub is gone, but we never used it, so that was not an issue for us. It's a big, roomy B&B with lots of common spaces and amenities that will not disappoint, and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
