We stayed here for 3 nights during the second week of February. We had room 10 on the second floor which would have an awesome view of the volcano if the clouds were not present. The girls at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, they notified us when out tour guide was downstairs and brought the phone for us to confirm with another tour. The room was big enough for two people (we've paid more for less space at other places). The room was quiet at night and clean. While it did not have the usual fridge and coffee maker in the room, there was a fridge downstairs where we were able to freeze water over night and store left overs. Also, breakfast was included. The restaurant staff where breakfast was served were friendly. We mostly ordered the typical breakfast and it always came within five minutes. I didn't use the pool so I can't speak on that. The parking lot area was safe. I would recommend this place and while we saw other nice places in La Fortuna we would return to this hotel. The price, the view, the staff and location all make it a great place to stay.

Room tip: The second floor rooms have a better view of the volcano.

We stayed at this place for three nights just a few weeks ago, late January. It was clean and spacious rooms, looking out at the volcano. Staff was great and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. I would stay here again for sure. Very affordable, great location.
There is a store right across the street, great restaurants all around too.

Would definitely recommend this place. It's slightly out of town, but that's definitely a good thing! There are cafés and restaurants nearby and it's only about a 20 minute walk into town. The rooms are clean and spacious and a great breakfast is included (provided by the cafe next door). Rebeca on reception is really helpful with booking activities.

It's a nice little hotel. The staff is very friendly. The view is very beautiful. There is a great restaurant next door (mi casa) and a supermarket in front. The room is small, the beds are very uncomfortable, no toiletries (paid the same price for a big hotel with everything included) and the wall are very thin. I still can live with that (except when a baby is crying at 1:00 am, but...) The problem is the noise! Every morning at 5 am, motorcycles, trucks and car passes in front of the hotel. It's the main road so it's very very active (even Christmas day!). I feel sorry for the owners but that's the truth!

Room tip: Upstairs is a good view

Great location off main road. Stayed in room 1 lower level. Ask for more pillows if possible. Huge shower, but then again it was a handicap accessible room. Fast WIFI and free breakfast were a bonus. We stayed one night and left early next morning so never saw pool or hot tub. Overall great value and would stay here again. I forgot my cell phone charger and they called me after we left the hotel so we were able to drive back and get it before we left town. Mucho gracias!!

Room tip: Room 1 on lower level is handicap accessible so the bathroom is nice and big!
