We just arrived from Moscow and I can tell that was an excelent choise to stay in this hotel.
The location is perfect. You have Red square at 15 min walk; Tverskaya Ulitsa at 10 min. walk and Old Arbat at about 20 min. walk. Also, you have metro stations close. It's on a quite street, very safely, but you have markets, restaurants and everything you need, just around the corner.
The staff was so kind, the room spacious (not like europe standard rooms), and very clean.
You can have a breakfast buffet in a time schedule very convinient; and about the price, we think is on the budget if you think you're paying for a great centrical 4 star hotel in Moscow. It's not too expensive and you save a lot of money in transportation.

We were traveling throughout the Baltics and Russia and stayed in wonderful European hotels. When we arrived at the Marriott we might as well been in the states as so many of the guests were American. Which of course made it a surprise that the hotel lobby is sufficating with smokers. We had a midnight train to St. Petersburg and had to check out of hotel at noon, it was difficult to stay in the lobby with all the smoke. The customer relations manager was very accomodating and allowed us to rest on the non-smoking floor lobby. I had developed a cold, it was raining and needed an early evening rest prior to the train.

The breakfast was terrific and the staff was so accomodating even with some "ugly" Americans making them crazy with requests. The restaurant in the hotel was quite good and reasonable for the high costs in Moscow. In all the hotels we stayed in, the internet was free. Many guide books complain about the Marriott costs and it seems they have paid attention. You can pop in and use the internet for free for five minutes...enough time to check emails, however, if you are there for business it may get costly.
The location was fabulous and a quiet street a half a block from all the action. We would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located in the centre of town right off Tverskaya and within walking distance to everything. Its not a Luxury hotel, but a good business hotel with a deacent price. Unless you want Ritz or the Hyatt and have an unlimited expense acct, I think this is one of the best price/value combos you can get in Moscow. I have tried quite a few Moscow hotels. Food in the restaurant was great. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. We paid about 19000 Rubles for 3 nights, Booked on Expedia with stay 3 nights get one of the nights free

This hotel is situated in a quiet, leafy street only 10 minutes walk from Red Square. Rooms are spotless, bright and airy and very comfortable beds. Bathroom slightly on small side but not a problem. Tea and coffee facilities. Reception staff were lovely - polite and helpful.

Not too many tourists in the hotel - the spacious and trendy reception/lobby area was full of business people a lot of the time.

Nice restaurant, too, although not very Russian!

We stayed here two nights before heading to St Petersburg and then returned back here before flying back to UK - was great coming back to the hotel after a great visit to St Pete's where the hotel was very dingy compared to this.
