This hotel is reminiscent of a 1950's Eastern European housing block. It is completely souless and is stuck in the middle of a deserted conference centre surrounded by motorways. 'Perilous' does not begin to describe trying to walk into town of an evening. The staff are pleasant and helpful but they are fighting against a tide of very mediocre faciilites. The only redeeming features are the indoor and outdoor swimming pools and the surrounding gardens.

Located conveniently near many many interesting things to do and see... that in and of its self would merit your stay. Fortunately for us the hotel is a slice of heaven. The staffs is well above splendid. The woman who checked me in was simply a peach! Everyone was so friendly and genuinely warm, something you don't see to often these days.
The room was quite spacious and comfortable. I had a great view, a mini bar, and in addition to the standard amenities you find at most hotels they have a Jogging track, playground for children, full blown spa, and 20 hour a day full room service. One thing I can't stress enough is to make sure you let them know you need a non smoking room. It seems to me that smoking rooms are the default there as non smoking are in the US.
Another thing that is very important. BE VERY CAREFUL CROSSING STREETS!!!! If you are familiar with the traffic in Mumbai or Goa then know that it is much busier than either of those places. If you are going to Tripoli (and you must!!!) then this is a delightful place to stay other than a cozy bed & breakfast... but that is another story all together!
