We stayed at the Allson on our Singapore stopover for 2 nights. We arived at the hotel at 7.30am and we were greeted by friendly staff at reception. We were given our room straight away which was greatly appreciated after a long flight overnight.

Our room was quite spacious and very clean. There was no noise and we slept till 12 noon without interuption. Bedding was very good. The bathroom is a little dated but still quite good.

Location of the hotel is excellent with nice eating places close by. There is a 7 Eleven store next door to buy any goods you want.

Travelled to the Zoo by taxi for $$15 and the hop on hop off bus is only one block away.

For money exchange we got a better rate outside the hotel in changing $AUS to SS$.

Would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to our friends.

arrrived after all night flight from manchester to be told by rude receptionist, our rom would not be available till 11am,offered us a smokers room of the same category which we declined. We had to pay more dollars to get an upgraded room, so we could get some rest. very poor start to our first trip to singapore

Stayed at the Allson two nights on route back to Australia. Hotel clean, comfortable, rooms quite large, beds comfortable. Cleaning staff thorough. No mini bar but fridge in room. Nice bathroom bit small. Hairdryer. Bit of a walk to the MRT system which works really well. Easy walking distance, next street to Raffles and Raffles city shopping centre.
Had an enjoyable stay. Nice swimming pool and small fitness centre. Would stay again.

We stayed 1 night as part of the SIA fabulous stopover - the hotel cost us a total of $3 so we cannot complain about the price at all! Room is tired looking but adequate. Bathroom was quite squeezy but everything worked fine. Had a nice dinner downstairs in Cafe - best fried rice. Position great though. If you plan on spending most of the day out, the hotel is fine.
