We have stayed here a number of times as well as other top hotels in Jerusalem...it is quite good. A solid 4 star hotel. Close to old city, good neighborhood; rooms are well kept and modern; food is excellent; staff is helpful (not exceptionally friendly...but not an objection to us). Overall, a hotel we look forward to visiting. No complaints.

I always travel this period of the year with my husband and my 15 years old boy to different countries . this time I decided to go to israel and jordan. I usually look for a hotel in tripadvisor and friends recomendations . that`s why I was worried :everybody says that a 5 star in israel is actually 1 star less . I confirm this except with dan panorama jerusalem hotel. we stayed first 4 days and it was a very pleasant stay.my room was big, very good bathroom and outstanding breakfast. 4 days later after my stay in jordan I came back to the same hotel but unfortunately at the reception a girl in a bad mood took a long time to make the check in, the room was not ready etc.. when I saw the room :very tiny , old carpets, old bathroom, medieval tv , I asked to change to another one, which they did but unfortunately the room was similar. the next morning I left at the reception an evaluation about the hotel (where I put my complaints) and to my surprise, half hour later the manager phoned me asking to meet him at the lobby. I meet him and he apologised for everything and changed immediately my family to a huge suite, with 2 huge lcd tv and so on. I am writing this especially to thanks this extremely kind manager called Baruch Spitzer. people like that makes a difference in a trip. not for the suite per se, but for the immediate feed back I`ve had and their wish to run a top hotel. now I can say :my stay in jerusalem was very special.

This was our 2nd stay at the Dan Panorama Jerusalem & I don't have any reservations about recommending this hotel. It's location is excellent (about 15 mins to Ben Yahuda Street & the Kotel); the service is good; staff are friendly & helpful; the breakfast buffet is a wonderful start to the day; & the rooms/facilities are good.

An example of service - After a tiring overnight flight, we arrived at the hotel about 07.15 & we were able to check in to an upgraded room (at no additional cost) before 08.00, for which we were truly grateful.

This was a good hotel in terms of location - and we really enjoyed our stay in Jerusalem. It was marred only by a very quick thief who managed to take cash from my wife's handbag (zipped up) at breakfast - must have been a member of staff - so keep your bag with you and don't leave it on the chair when you refill your coffee cup. Otherwise can recommend the good breakfasts and bar staff. Excellent restaurant over the road and down hill called the Olive and Fish. Oh and one more thing - make sure you don't rely on ATMs as some don't take Brit cards!

This hotel is in major need of renovations. The rooms a decorated so pooly it is pathtic. The bed was horrible. The bedding was stained and gross. The furniture and TV were so old. The internet was unecessarily expensive. The bathroom had been renovated so that was the one nice portion of the room. The restaurant was good and the foor dgreat. A very nice buffet spread of Israeli food. Definitely no nightlife at this hotel. The one plus, and it is a big one, is the location. You are very close to The Old City, the YMCA, King David Hotel, Ben Yehudah Street and a lot of fun places in Jerusalem. Plus it is very very safe.

Pay the extra money and stay at the King David or the Mamilla. If you are going to Israel already you have spent a ton of money so it is worth the extra bit.

Dear Valued Guest,

Your response is highly appreciated as it helps us continuously improve our services.

As you mentioned, the bathrooms have been recently renovated. At present we continue our renovation. As for the bedding, we took all the necessary steps to improve the situation.

I would like to thank you for your kind words about our restaurant, buffet and location. It is a big plus being so close to all the interesting locations such as the old city, the new city, the new mall and so many more attractions.

We do hope to see you again soon at Dan Panorama Jerusalem.
