My husband and I go to Cafe St. Ex perhaps every other month or so. It is not in our neighborhood, but we like the cozy feel of the place, the vintage aviation themed decor and the food is always outstanding. Last week we noticed that the menu was different from our last visit, and the prices seemed higher. I had a substantial appetizer as a main course, the Oxtail "sausage". It was intensely flavorful, and served with very fresh greens. My husband had the Roasted Cauliflower Risotto Croquettes, and they were also delicious. We have always had good service, so i was surprised to hear that others had not. It can be a bit noisy sometimes, so we try to go when we think it might not be too busy.
