I have traveled all over the world and must tell you this is a world class hotel . I had some of the best service that I have ever had anywhere. My family and Dog were treated like royalty. Gym, Pool and Lobby and coutyard were just great. The location of this hotel is perfect to sightsee, shop etc. I am getting ready to book it and go again

The room was booked using a low 'family & friends' rate. The per night room rack rate was an eye watering $849. Even at half the price I would not think it good value.

Overall I had a good stay and would consider staying again. My comments below reflect my actual experience compared to the image this hotel portrays.

I stayed for 3 nights in October in a room on the 10th floor as far away from the lift as possible. The view was nothing to write home about but there was a lot of natural light.

The room was a good size but I found some of the furniture and fittings were outdated and shabby-looking. The bed was large and comfortable.

Overall the room was clean but it's clear they skirt around the furniture. I moved the ottoman in the room so I could sit in the chair to discover a penny and a dried out piece of apple core under the ottoman.

I ordered room service several times. The servers were friendly, the food fine but the first time I called I was transferred twice and my call had cut out once before I got through to anyone.

I've noticed that more and more hotels are removing items from rooms they once provided – for example sewing kits, shoes polishing cloths etc. I can live without these but I found it bizarre that there was not one pen in the entire room. Writing materials yes, pen no. I had my own but it's the lack of attention to detail that is obvious.

Probably one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in.

Not sure how we managed it but got an excellent 4 night deal in this excellent hotel including breakfast.
Had a great massage to relieve stress on flight can recommend Chrstoff knows what he is doing.
Large room with all facilities spotlessly clean. Clean towels every day regardless of leaving on rail. Even clean sheets 2 days into stay.

Lovely bar area overlooking garden shame that we had 2 days of rain! Nice restaurant great breakfast and good evening meal one night when did not want to face rain again.
Would certainly stay again if price right.
