Location, location, location. The hotel has got it, overlooking Bled lake. Very little more.
We felt pressured into accepting the menu of the day and when we requested an a la carte option it was 'not available'.
'Kings crab' turned out to be 5 large but tasteless prawns perched on a thin bed bed of mash with a splash of what tasted suspiciously like hoi sin sauce. Soup was two pale pieces of Ravioli and two florets of broccoli floating in a uninspiring liquid.
The waiter we felt rude and arrogant. We felt we were not worthy of his attention!
The place itself has been expensively renovated and is very nice, with interesting pictures articles etc. that we were shown on arrival by a pleasant lady.
We thought the food expensive for what it was and overall the place promises more than it delivers. We will not return- the view we can get from the hotel car park!
