Ann was the best and adjusted to our delayed arrival--lovely village and one of the cleanest and well kept B&B's in my 20+ years of travel. Very scenic & shopping close by.
Wireless internet available and she offered us the use of her personal computer. We were more than guests here--treated as extended family.
Lovely photo opportunities everywhere with food and good " Irish music"- a one or two minute walk at the 2 local pubs. Try the fish and chips---unbelievable!!!
I asked Ann to suggest an early morning walk for a photography outing, and she put me " on the right TRACK!" Dogs, horses, cows, sheep, a hare, birds, new and old buildings, the quaint town before anyone arrived, country lane, ocean, beach, unusual rock formations, boats near the ferry landing, cliffs, rolling surf, flowers, early morning walker ( one with dog), a jaunt up a dry creek, plus pastoral scenes . . .
Well, this was my favorite 3 1/2 hours of solitude in the 8 days we explored Ireland. I returned to the Half Door B&B for tasty tea, toast and a bacon & cheese omelette that was bursting with warm meat and flavor!
Get to Doolin and the Half Door B&B for what you are looking for in Ireland. Oh, and say HI! to Ann from me, please.
