“Really comfortable beds, tasty breakfast and a short walk to 2 pubs with traditional Irish music.”

The Half Door is another of Ireland’s accommodating B&Bs. While driving north from Kenmare we needed a spot to stop for the night near the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. Both guidebooks recommended the Half Door and we were not disappointed. The size of the room was good and I have to say it was the most comfortable bed I slept on during my entire trip. The Half Door is also located near two of the pubs which feature traditional Irish music in the evening. The breakfast was excellent and the owner was very helpful in directing us to the Burren and on to Galway. My only criticism is that the water temperature was limited and people used to very hot showers might be disappointed. NeverthelessI would recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in Doolin.

This B&B is highly recommended, Anne Hughes is a great host. A perfect place to take in all west Clare has to offer.

“Incredible location, friendly staff.”

This was a great stay. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are dark and very quiet. I slept great the entire stay. Anne was very friendly, meeting us with tea upon arrival. The location cannot be beat, quite literally a stones throw from the pubs. I hope to stay longer next time.

“Happy at the Half Door Doolin”

The Half Door B & B is one of the friendliest establishments I've ever experienced. The rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic. I highly recommend this B & B.

“Great visit!”

The Half Door B&B is really what it's all cracked up to be. The room was beautiful and clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the husband-and-wife owners could not have been more helpful or friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here on your trip to Doolin. Thanks for a great night!
