“Excellent Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 June 2009

We went to this restaurant based on the reviews posted on tripadvisor and we were not disappointed at all. It was one of our favorites meals during our trip. They offered a great variety of types of foods and it was all fresh and delicious. Even after all of the places we ate on our trip this place stood out in our mind!

“Great Restaurant along the road to Doolin”

Had a great meal and I was thrilled that it was so reasonably priced. I also felt very comfortable dining there by myself which is awkward sometimes in the countryside. The restaurant is comprised of a few different rooms with only a couple of tables in each room. Overall, the atmosphere is friendly and comfortable - nothing fancy but that's what makes it charming. There were a couple of tables with kids but the restaurant provides books, toys, etc. to keep them occupied. There isn't much space to wait as once you come in through the front door, you are in the main part of the restaurant. I was seated next to a large display unit which tempted me with their homemade desserts so I left room to enjoy the Banoffi pie. I had a great burger which was actually two little burgers served on a roll. It's a great restaurant along the side of the main Cliffs of Moher and Doolin road.

“Friendly faces, good food, charming!”

The building is charming, the food was fresh and tasty with lots of choices for the kids (our were very tired of the chicken nuggets which they had at almost every other pub/restaurant). The waitress was lovely with a friendly smile. Games and toys for the kids made it relaxed and enjoyable for everyone. So glad we stopped here!

“Friendliest Restaurant in Ireland”

While visiting the Cliffs of Moher and staying in Doolin, my family ate dinner at the Stonecutters Kitchen on our last night in Ireland. The food was fantastic but what made the place more special was the friendly staff. They made our last day in Ireland the best one. Can't wait to go back!

A wonderful place for dinner with all home made food served. The desserts are the hidden delight. Step outside for a bit close to sunset... the view is just amazing. It is just outside doolin on the road to the cliffs of moher
