The hotel staff were all lovely. We stayed f.r 3 nights. We eat in the bar every night the food was really good and they had a great and varied menu. The hotel has a lovely setting with a view of the waterfall running through the middle of the town. Spa facilities were great especially loved the outside jacuzzi. Few minor complaints.. one our first night we got glasses of water and took them to bedroom, they were still sitting on our bedside tables when we left even though room was serviced every day. There were a lot of flies about the hotel in every room even though we were staying in November. Apart from these minor things we really enjoyed out stay.

Dear Trip Advisor Member,
You are not the first and definitely won't be the last guest to mention our setting when reviewing the Falls Hotel & Spa. The waterfall and surroundings are the biggest attractions and selling points of our hotel. The next aspect that is often praised by many people is our Riverspa and again it's the same with yourself. Our outdoor hot tub overlooking the river Inagh is a unique and wonderful experience.
In relation to the minor issues you raised particularly about the water glasses. It's very peculiar they were not removed and I will be passing this issue on to our housekeeping team so it won't happen again.
I hope this 3 night break is the first of many and that we will see you return again!

Kind regards,
Dermot Hogan

Arrived on a Friday evening to a pretty full carpark, a buzz about to place as we realised there's a wedding reception on. Lounge full and a band playing in the. We decided to walk by the beautiful waterfall close by, and walk up the town for dinner in Burnes,s restaurant (beautiful).
After dinner, back to the hotel around 10pm and the wedding party were in full swing down in the main dining room underneath. I was so quite in the lounge we had a few drinks at the bar before going to bed. We enjoyed it so much and staff were very friendly.

Dear Trip Advisor Member,
It's very pleasing to receive a review like this. We are well known as an amazing wedding venue but it's very important to look after the other guests who stay with us during a wedding also. I'm delighted to see that's what occurred with your stay. Every guest is equally important to us and it's great that you enjoyed it so much. Our staff will also be over the moon with you like many others highlighting their friendliness for praise.
Hope the return visit is being planned already!

Just home from a weekend spent in the self catering lodge at the back of the hotel. We were on a hen party and the accommodation booking had to be changed a number of times but it never seemed to be a problem for the lovely professional staff in reservations. The receptionist that checked us in was friendly and very professional as were all the other staff we met during the weekend.
The accommodation was really beautiful. Lovely decor and spotless. As the lodge away from the hotel we had a fantastic weekend without the worry of disturbing any of the other guests.
Thanks to all at the falls .

Dear TripAdvisor Member,
Thank you for such a positive review. Our reservations and reception team will be delighted to hear your praise. We try our very best to make the stay of our guests as fantastic as possible so no call or request is too much for us to handle. I'm also very happy to see you were impressed with our self-catering accommodation. Anyone that has ever stayed in our 3 bedroom lodge is always blown away by how beautiful it is.
I hope you and your friends will be back to us again and I hope you picked up a wedding brochure when you were here too :)

Kind regards,

Stayed at the falls hotel & Spa on sat 15th Oct. We were returning to celebrate our 10 th anniversary & when booking it asked reservations for some small gesture as we had our wedding reception there in 2004. I was told by the reservation manager they couldnt afford to do anything like that! We were very disappointed by this response. We had a voucher otherwise I would have cancelled my reservation. When we arrived at our room there was a chill in it. We had to ring reception to turn on heating as they had control of it. Did not stay on for too long either. Breakfast was only ok lukewarm & processed. Overall, my experience of staying at this hotel was tarred by the lack of public relations of the reservation manager by not giving us a token to welcome us back. Very disappointed by our experience.

Dear Trip Advisor Member,
Thank you for taking the time to post this review.
The feedback of our guests is very important to us.
I am very disappointed you didn't enjoy your stay. The hotel always makes an effort to mark peoples' special occasions whether it's a comp room upgrade or a small touch of a cake for a birthday. However we are not in a position to offer complimentary bottles of expensive champagne or other expensive freebies to every guest. We try our utmost to make our guest's stay as special as possible but obviously there are limits and financial constraints that restrict us in some cases.
I really hope that you would consider returning to the Falls Hotel & Spa in the future and seeing the great service we do in fact provide.

Kind regards,

Visited here from last Sunday 26/10/14 to 28/10/14. Lovely hotel. Great food. Lovely staff. Grandkids loved pool and games room. Rooms were spotless and roomy. Lovely riverside walks. Close to town and various attractions in the general area. Would be happy to give 5 stars except for being charged 60c for a dash of mi-wadi (Already diluted I would say) in a glass of water for a 6year old child. I really feel this was unwarranted and it disappointed me.

Room tip: Watch out for cordial charge.

Dear Trip Advisor Member,
Thank you for taking the time to post this review. You have had some lovely feedback to share with us! I am delighted that you and your grandkids enjoyed such a pleasant stay with us. The games room is always a huge hit with children and this was no different. Our location and riverside walks added to your overall experience. In relation to the one minor issue you encountered with the miwadii. Firstly it would have not been diluted down and our policy is that we give all children their first glass free but charge a fee after that to avoid too many kids at the bar unsupervised looking to order drinks.
Obviously it's a cost that we have to pay for and it cannot be dismissed. Usually we get complimented for even giving the first order free.
We hope that you all will come back and visit us again soon!

Kind regards,
Dermot Hogan
