“Very nice hotel and lovely staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012 NEW

Stayed in this hotel during a work trip. Could not fault anything about this hotel. The rooms are lovely and the food is amazing. Staff are just so friendly and are just so helpful. Good location if you want to go surfing or touring the cliffs of moher. Will definetly be returning here again.

“Superb”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 December 2011

This is one place that certainly exceeds expectations. We booked late and still got a very reasonable rate. We then turned up at about one in the morning but were still given a friendly welcome. Rooms are well appointed, comfortable, spacious - great for a good nights sleep. Buffet breakfast offering and cooked to order items were delicious. Was an hour late checking out, it was not an issue and they arranged a reasonably priced taxi to Shannon. There is a very relaxing lounge room with a small bar which looks like an ideal place to unwind. Will definitely return.

“Elegant luxury”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 November 2011

We drove down from Dublin and pulled into Vaughan's-wasn't too impressed with the outside, but walk in the door and wow! The staff is beyond helpful-the food fantastic. i had the best meal I've ever had at Vaughan. Michael and his staff are warm, helpful and feel like friends. The rooms are fresh, sleek and very up to date. Will go back!
Thanks to all of you!!!

“Great place, friendly, dining room superb”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 November 2011

We only had one night At Vaughan Lodge and would return when ever we have the chance.
Staff are welcoming and helpful with directions, GPS settings, and general visitor information.
Dining room service was excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. Our pre dinner drink in the lodge was complemented by local guests with lots of tips for our visit. The fireplace was light and very inviting. Our sincere compliments to the chef for the excellent menu and dinner. It was a highlight of our trip to Ireland.
Our room was very comfortable , spacious ancd well appointed. Breakfast was delicious - nothing was amiss!

“The perfect escape”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

Golfing in Lahinch - The perfect recipe for a relaxed weekend, a hotel with "The Personal Touch" of the ever vigilant Michael Vaughan and food of a high quality. The room had a view of the sea and the golf course and the breakfast was cooked after being ordered not sitting from 7 am like many hotels today. We watched the world cup golf in the lounge and the beautiful scenery of west Clare (even made our way to Ballyvaughan Tea Rooms for the cheesecake made famous by Steven Spielberg. A wonderful anniversary treat.

Room Tip: Sea view not sure if there are rooms without sea view.
