My Partner and I found Roseville B&B about seven years ago and have gone there a few times every year since. It is right in the centre of youghal,close to everything,with parking right next to it.But what really makes it special is Phyllis. She makes you feel so welcome,and cant do enough for you with help and advice about places to see, to have a drink and good food. Rooms are comfortable fresh towelsand a lovely walled garden to look out at as you eat your breakfast. Excellent value and great fun always.

Stayed at the Roseville, New Catherine St., Youghal, County Cork, Ireland in June of this year. Phyllis is an excellent hostess, very friendly and informative. We were welcomed by her dog Jack.

We happened upon this B & B as we were making our way from Cobh to Waterford. Being from Texas, we thought Youghal (pronounced "Yawl") was an appropriate stop. We didn't have reservations, but Phyllis Foley welcomed us into her very nice and comfortable B & B.

The B & B is situated right in town, well within walking distance of stores and pubs. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom fixtures could use a little update, but we had plenty of hot water and lots of water pressure. It looked like one of the previous guests had pulled the heater almost out of the wall in the bathroom, which was unfortunate, but did not cause us any problems.

Breakfast was excellent!!! Several choices were provided including the full Irish breakfast. She had a cold breakfast bar set up with cereals, but also offered hot cereal if you prefer.

Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
