Friendly enough staff.

Nice place, with not too much character. Massive room, very clean, nice bathroom, but a small double bed. Tiny TV with no cable.

Not at all bad, but overpriced.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Silver Tassie; the room was good and had a lovely view across the Lough. The breakfast was cooked to order and very good and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
We were less impressed with the food in the evenings. The restaurant was quite expensive and we opted to eat in the bar; the menus looked quite similar. I had a fish pancake and was suprised to find it was covered in a thick layer of very cheap processed cheese which ruined the flavour of the various fillings inside. We ate out for the rest of our stay.

My sister and I stayed here for 1 night a little spa treat and loved it from start to finish. I got a deal through Select Hotels and it was more than reasonable! The spa was absolute heaven, the included 4 course dinner was yummy and the room was lovely and cosy. The staff couldn't do enough for you. As soon as we were leaving we wanted to go back again.

We stayed in the Silver Tassie for 3 nights at the end of July. Got great rate with voucher I got from Heatons! Food was gorgeous, I would reccommend you go to the restaurant if you are in Letterkenny area. Staff lovely, especially the Scottish Receptionist. DVD's in every room, the children 7, 13 and 15 borrowed DVD's from the library and thought this was the bees knees. Cinema nights showing newly released DVD's on a big screen - was a big hit (Popcorn available). Music in bar every night. Thouroghly enjoyed are stay.
