My sister and I stayed here for 1 night a little spa treat and loved it from start to finish. I got a deal through Select Hotels and it was more than reasonable! The spa was absolute heaven, the included 4 course dinner was yummy and the room was lovely and cosy. The staff couldn't do enough for you. As soon as we were leaving we wanted to go back again.

We stayed in the Silver Tassie for 3 nights at the end of July. Got great rate with voucher I got from Heatons! Food was gorgeous, I would reccommend you go to the restaurant if you are in Letterkenny area. Staff lovely, especially the Scottish Receptionist. DVD's in every room, the children 7, 13 and 15 borrowed DVD's from the library and thought this was the bees knees. Cinema nights showing newly released DVD's on a big screen - was a big hit (Popcorn available). Music in bar every night. Thouroghly enjoyed are stay.

We live in manchester but decided to get married in Letterkenny Co Donegal. We chose to have other family and friends stay at the Silver tassie with us and we chose the hotel only becuase of other reviews on line and it was close to the registrars office. We made several additions to the party in the run up to the wedding and the staff delat with these on line very quickly and without any fuss or issue. Top tip if anyone wants to use the registra officer in Letterkenny - DONT its awful. The staff are fabulous but the sign on the door says `mental health unit` and the very small and dark room where the ceremony would take place has two pictures of the new mental health unit hanging on the wall. As a result we approached Ciaran the Silver Tassie owner who arranged a fabulous room to get married in and where we could then have a private meal in afterwards. He sorted the paperwork out with the registrar very easily. He recovered what was a difficult situation for us at a very satisfactory price. The food was all done a la Carte so all 30 of our guest simply chose from the restaurant menu. The food was always wonderful. The rooms that all of our party used were of the highest standards. Most of the ladies in the party used the hair salon and the spa services. All comments very positive, the staff in each venue were very good and extremely helpful. Our stay at the hotel was excellent and we would recommend without hesitation.

i am a regular customer in this hotel, now i have to say the food is excellent, as i alway`s leave a tip for the staff who are so kind and helpfull, i was so upset to hear from them that all sunday lunches tip`s do not go to the staff at all instead it is kept by the owener to replace broken plate`s cup`s etc,which i know is not right so i am letting all my friend`s and other customer`s know not to leave any more tip`s on a sunday as the staff do not recieve it anyway, plus ihave imformed the local radio station about this to air my veiw`s as i am most upset by this ...........
