Clean comfortable hotel. Large bar and restaurant serving great well priced food (Not a place to come in middle of a diet!!!) . Room was large and bathroom had underfloor heating. Very comfortable bed. Swimming pool was very clean and the jacuzzi and steam room were excellent. Located slightly outside of town for walking but 5 min drive. Main road busy but no noise issues at all.
Staff very helpful.
One minor complaint. TV needs to be improved. Great reception in bar area but TV in room was poor. No ITV ans Sky News came and went as it pleased.
We will be back !

myself, partner and another couple stayed for 3 nights in feb '10. the hotel is quite shabby, the carpets are worn and dirty. the hotel is on the main letterkenny road with 4 lanes of traffic and you can hear traffic constantly as the windows wouldnt close properly. none of us slept for the 3 nights. the shower and food was the only good the hotel has. the price of drink and food was expensive. would not stay again as you dont get what u pay for.

I and 4 of my friends spent 3 nights from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th November 2009 for the Donegall Hooley weekend at the Clanree. We enjoyed every minute. The Food was good the Bedrooms clean and the Staff Friendly. The music and the dances were brilliant , we would reccommend the Donegal Hooley weekend and the Clanree

This is my fifth stay here since 2005, but will probably be my last. It is showing many signs of negelect - peeling wallpaper, dirty and worn carpets and furniture, and poor bedding. The leisure centre changing rooms are very poor now. Whilst the quality of food is reasonable, the choice of evening dinner never changes. I'm fed up of being given the same choice of five main courses. For one night it would be OK but when staying four nights it is not acceptable.

In the past I've recommened this hotel to friends, but alas I no longer can.
