Ard Ri House was first class. The food was excellent with lots of choice for breakfast. The roomswere comfortable and clean. The Creed family offered typical Irish hospitality - so helpful. It was quite simply the best B&B we have ever stayed in.

Visited this B&B with my family for a few days break to relax before the stress of EXAMS!!!!!.From arrival to departure we were treated as if we were the only guests staying there, our out of hours arrival and departure times were accomodated without a problem. Our rooms were outstandingm the bed was a joy to sleep in and had the best sleep ever!!!.Ideally situated within walking distance to the town of Cashel with its historical Rock, a must see for any visitor!.The food was without doubt FABULOUS, Full Irish Breakfast, Soda Bread, White Pudding, Coffee Cake, even my fussy teenagers were raving about the food, Pancakes!!!!, so much so that my creation of the menus on our return has paled into insignificance!!!!!!!..Eileen was a fab hostess from beginning to end, made every effort to ensure our comfort was a priority to her, and was a great help in providing info on places of interest to travel to.Almost forgot the Internet Access, a must and Priority for my teens which added to the whole relaxing trip.Would definatly return again and would recommend this B&B to others.

I went to Ard Ri House last summer with my family and i must say that the welcoming i recieved from Eileen was excellent, she made us feel right at home and was always on hand.
The rooms were lovely, very clean, nice size and the beds are so comfortable! They also had things in the room like kettle, telly, hairdryers, iron and ironing board..the list is endless.
The food at Ard Ri House is superb! The breakfast's are really delicious and there is also alot of variety. Overall my stay at Ard Ri House was excellent and I'd definatly stay there again.

Ard Ri House is a purpose-built family-run B&B at the edge of Cashel. For €37.50 pps we had a spacious, spotless en suite room with comfortable beds, kettle and tea-and-coffee tray, free wireless and the most sumptuous breakfast I have seen - excellent 'starter' buffet with fresh fruit salad among other things - porridge (oatmeal) cooked to order - and 'full cooked Irish breakfast' with generous servings. On top of that, our host and hostess could not have been more friendly and obliging.

The town of Cashel is overlooked by the 'Rock of Cashel,' an impressive cluster of medieval monuments that dominates from miles around. After years of driving past it, we decided we must stop, and it was well worth a visit. Our young guide was excellent, and it was fascinating to see the kind of restoration work that is being done. The town of Cashel has a lot to offer, too. Bolton's Library is full of atmosphere, and there, too, there was a well-informed and friendly guide to meet one. We had decided on a very short visit - the drive from Dublin, with new motorways, is now under two hours- but now we like the town so much we think we might go back...

I should add, we also had a very good, reasonable lunch and dinner at the Ladyswell Restaurant.
