Our second to last night in Ireland. We just arrived home and I felt the need to get online and write about Hillhouse in Cashel. Carmel was warm, pleasant and could not do enough to make us feel welcomed. The 1710 Georgian home is filled with period furniture and spotless!!! The room we stayed in could not have been more elegant. The brochure does not do the Hill House justice. It sits atop a hill at the same height as the Rock of Cashel. The views are exquisite. Breakfast was the best of our trip. Pancakes (more like crepes) with fresh fruit, full Irish breakfast and home cooked oatmeal. She asked us the evening before what time we would like to eat rather than giving us a time. Oh the shower! I didn't want to get out, the water pressure was enormous. Free wi-fi was a treat, Thank you to our hostess for her kindness and courtesy and such an inviting home. Anne M. from Michigan
