The Stanley House it just a short walk outside the town of Schull . A quiet location on a country lane with a beautiful few over the sound. The bedrooms and bathrooms are sparkling clean with very good matresses and duvet covers. We spent a lot of time in the common living room and the adjoining sun room that overlooks the gardens and the water.
The best part is the genuine hospitality of the Nancy, the host. She cares for the guests as if they were family but without being intrusive. Breakfast has lots of selection from fresh fruit and cereal to egss with all the trimmings, traditional Irish or salmon and my personal favorite kippers. The fresh french press coffee is outstanding.
It was hard to leave after 4 nights and we couldn't find any better value in Ireland during our stay.

We were welcomed to Stanley House by Nancy Brosnan the owner with a welcoming pot of tea and home made cakes.

Stanley House is just like being at home, everything you would expect for yourself is provided by Mrs. Brosnan.

Stanley is spotless, and Nancy takes great pride in making sure that all the rooms with their ensuite bathrooms are immaculate.

Breakfast is four courses, all freshly cooked whilst you wait (not long). A really first class start to the day.

The location of Stanley House is on a hill overlooking Schull Harbour with deer in the paddock immediately in front of the house which adds to the ambience of the place itself.

You could not get better at a 5 star hotel.

Have just returned from a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday in Schull. Stanlet House is to be highly recommended for a relaxing stay. Hosts Nancy and Tom are most welcoming and friendly. Their home is extremely comfortable , bedrooms and bathrooms are spotless and the breakfast every morning is amazing. Views from the house are second to none. Roll on next year when we hope to return for another week of relaxation in a place that can only be described as heaven on earth

My boyfriend and I chose to stay at Stanley House in Schull due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews as well as the reasonable price for a 7 night stay in a double room.
The room was very clean, spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Although you can't really get around without a car, it's a short walk from the B&B to Main Street which has a good choice of restaurants and pubs (highly recommend the Bunratty Inn).
Nancy and her husband were absolutely wonderful hosts - very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was always worth getting up for!
