Stayed in Adare for a wedding at the Dunraven Arms and booked the Adare Country House.Didnt know what it would be like but it turned out to be a really lovely very Irish experience.Dennis and Eileen are the perfect hosts and cannot do enough for you whilst staying out the way enough for you to have your own space.It's close enough to everything whilst being situated in a peacefull part of the village.Breakfast great,really good selection.

If your considering going to Adare book the Adare Country house.

Spent two nights recently in Adare Country House and we hopefully will be back. We stayed in a large double bed room with a full sized bathroom - Breakfast was equally good, a lot better than some 4 star hotels we have stayed in.
Eileen and Dennis were very helpful and nothing was too much bother for them. Filtered iced water at midnight or fresh milk for our tea/coffee facilities in our room during the day.
The house is situated close to the village with plenty of parking so I recommend a short stroll to the village and avoid any problems with parking on the main street which can be busy in Summer. Adare itself is a beautiful village with plenty of good restaurants and pubs. We ate twice in The Blue Door and found the food and service excellent.

Following recommendations on Trip Advisor, my husband and I had a very comfortable night at the Adare Country House. Our room was spacious and attractive as was the ensuite bathroom. Sadly, we had almost no time to spend with our hosts as our stay was so brief. They seemed like lovely people, anxious to help. The guest house was only a five minute walk to town, which made it possible to leave your car there and avoid parking problems. Given our experience we were certainly recommend Adare Country House.

We certainly did ourselves a favor by staying here! The village of Adare is known for its charm, and so is Adare Country House---deservedly! It is a beautiful house and full of exquisite paintings, many of them by the hostess, Eileen. Her work needs to be in a gallery of art! Husband Dennis was extremely helpful in providing tips and arrangements. I wish we could have stayed longer just to chat more with both of them. Don't bother with more expensive lodging in Adare. You simply will not top this place for its friendliness, helpfulness, atmosphere, beauty and value!
