My wife and I were lucky enough to recently spend an entire week at the Adare Country House with Eileen and Denis. Everything about our stay was 'brilliant' - our hosts, their house, the location and the very substantial breakfast feast we enjoyed daily. Adare village is definitely a must see and the local pubs provided excellent service, fare and attentive staff (try Collins or Aunty Lena's!) - they are a short walk from the country house. Make sure to visit Adare Manor as well....a must see and very impressive!

Eileen and Denis and their hospitality were certainly the single best part of our first time trip to Ireland; hopefully we'll be back again! Not having planned an exact itinerary for our stay, except that we planned to rent a car at the (Shannon) airport and do 'day' trips from Adare. Denis provided invaluable suggestions and advice to enhance what 'jaunts' we had planned which added much enjoyment and many memories to last a lifetime.

While in Adare, do visit the Adare Country House!!!

We stayed one night in Adare, and found Adare Country House to be excellent. A large room with ensuite bathroom. Lovely and peaceful, great night's sleep.
Dennis was helpful in suggesting places to eat and we enjoyed being able to leave the car and easily walk into Adare.
Breakfast was lovely, enjoyed the French toast a nice change from eggs.

We had the pleasure of staying for 3 days was party of 16 stopping for a wedding at the manor. The hospitality an treatment we recieved was superb and is 5 stars in my book.
Would recomened it to everyone

Very friendly and helpfull hosts and staff - good breakfast menu - quiet area with good pubs and resturants nereby - massive four poster bed - wooden floor squeaked but this added to the success of the stay - definately stay again.
