Do yourself a favor when you stay in Kenmare. Stay at the Riverville House......you will not be disappointed. It is a little gem tucked away with only a 3 minute walk from town.....but hidden away enough that you will feel you are tucked away at a cozy little retreat.
It is cozy, roomy and pretty. My husband and I stayed there for 2 days and just loved it. We wish we could have stayed longer. Margaret and her husband Fergus are both friendly and warm hosts and will make your stay special. Great breakfasts are served in a cozy breakfast room. If you ask for the upstairs bedroom facing the street you will get not only a cozy room but yet plenty of room....but a gorgeous view besides. Stay at the Riverville House......you will not be disappointed.

Great B&B located just a 5 minute walk from the Kenmare pubs. Margaret (are all of the B&B hosts in Ireland named Margaret? I'm 3 for 3 so far) is a very welcoming host who makes a fantastic breakfast and keeps excellent en suite rooms. If I had to suggest anything, it wouldn't be that there is "too much pine" as someone else here complained (lolz), but rather that our room was too warm and we couldn't cool it because the windows were in the ceiling and it was raining. But that's a minor issue, as we were only there to sleep and eat breakfast. Excellent location and just plain great overall! We stayed in Riverville House in Kenmare earlier this week and it was a charming stay - the B&B was wonderful, enjoys a great location just a short stroll from Kenmare town centre. Margaret our host was wonderful and cooked a super breakfast on both mornings. Most of all, Riverville House was excellent value for money. We'll certainly be back! Thank you Margaret for your hospitality!

Beautiful and clean home set within colorful flower garden conveniently located within easy walking distance of downtown Kenmare. Both Margret and Fergus, being classically trained chefs, set a very tasty and artistic breakfast table. They provide access to a computer with high speed internet and even helped me solve a flat tire problem. We highly recommend their B&B.
