Kro means in Danish inn. Vissenbjerg Storkro is a modern looking low standard hotel, not a kro in old style at all.
Location - The area around Vissenbjerg is beautiful. The hotel itself is located close to the main road and it is a bit noisy if windows are open.
It is a spacious free parking place nearby and very few facilities for children to play on.
Rooms - rooms are light and the right size, not cramped. Beds are soft. Bathroom is also reasonable. Wi-fi works perfect. I do not like the window open system - closed->top venting->side opening. The top position of the handle did not lock the window correctly in our room and instead of the side opening the window was kept only on the one hinge ready to fall down - oops!
Meals - Breakfast was good but with limited choice. Tepid boiled eggs are all what you can call 'warm food'. Restaurant serves decent evening food. It is difficult to call their dishes tasty. :)
Checking out was horrible. Very slow lady in the reception could not manage any bill without manual and very slow (very) insert of our daily expenses.
All in all, the hotel struggles with keeping average level in all they can offer. Nothing special at all.
I will hardly recommend it to my friends regardless nothing significant can disqualify them.More
