The entrance to the hotel is impressive. The hotel is very clean the rooms were fine although our batroom was quite small. The air conditioning was a great help and free.
Although situated on the outskirts of sorrneto, access was easy by bus or train.The Busses were Line A or C.,get on and off in the main Tasso square.
The pool area was good and even in August there were beds available.
The food was ok and the breafast basic and repetative
If you go out of the hotel turn right then first left, that leads you to the coastal views, very nice. Everywhere is accessible by public transport, Pompeii and Amalfi were done by Train or bus at a fraction of the organised trip cost.
Be aware things are very expensive.

We booked in for two nights but as soon as we were taken past the reception area we knew we made a mistake. I have never seen an hotel which made such a lasting impression on my wife, as soon as we were shown into our room she went straight to the bathroom and burst into tears. The staff were indeed friendly and helpful but I cannot understand how anyone can give this a good rating. We have stayed in 5star hotes in Rome for another €10 per night.

The staff were very helpful particularly the waiters and the food was excellent. The rooms were kept immaculately clean. Lovely hotel! Downside not much entertainment in the evening someone plays a keyboard and sings at around 9 o'clock not at all lively. No entertainment /activities in the day. Easy to walk into Sorrento traffic a nightmare though. We had a wonderful holiday everything is within easy reach.

All in all a good hotel. Room was spacious but a little old-fashioned but that didnt matter too much. If you get the Curreru Viaggi bus (can drag on due to traffic 1.5 to 2 hours) from Naples airport it is 10 euros pp and it takes you about a 5 min (flat!!) walk to the hotel.
A real plus for the hotel is the pool, it is very spacious and clean. Absolutly spot on if you want to chill out by the pool for a day.

From the hotel you can either have a very pleasant 15 minute walk into Sorrento or there is a shuttle service (runs about 4 times a day each way). A bit of advice, if you do like a fairly cheap drink there is a pub opposite the hotel and a bar just outside. A pint is 4 euros wheras in Sorrento you are talking 6 euro plus.

The train station for St Agnello is about a 5 minute walk and you can get to Sorrento, Pompei etc on that.

As for visiting Capri we got the Hydrofoil boat for 27 euros each which may not have been the best idea. To really explore I recommend hiring a self-drive speed boat (holds 5 people) as we did on Friday. It is fairly expensive £200 for the day (that has gas, insurance etc included) but definitely recommended you can take the boat quite a way out (we got all the way to Amalfi) and stop at the pleasant other towns on the way. Beware that when you get into the harbours you will need to give about 10 euro for them to park the boat. Luckily, we met another couple a few days before and we split the bill so not so bad!
