I spent almost 3 weeks in Italy for the first time and was so grateful for the friendly owners Marcella and her husband at Anna&Ricca! Their B&B is very clean, has internet access and has the historic yet homey feeling! They were so accomodating and were like my family away from home. It's very close to town and has a bus stop literally right outside the door! The town is just across the street with tons of great shopping especially the open market on Tuesday and Friday mornings. The entire family speaks fluent English and Italian and offer gluten free bread and other foods! The rooms were far apart from each other offering a lot of privacy. There is a spacious dining/sitting room in between also with awesome views and quiet places to read or study. If I'm ever lucky enough to return to Reggio Emelia I will definitly be staying here!!
