This is the second time we have stayed for an extended visit at the Hotel Olimpia. We stayed there in 2004 for over two weeks and when we returned in 2008 for 16 days we didn't even consider looking anywhere else - our experience was that good.

I had originally booked a room online from the U.S. and when we arrived in Cortina at that hotel it was badly misrepresented and we checked out and looked around in Cortina and found the Hotel Olimpia and now it is the only place I will ever stay in future visits to Cortina.

English speaking staff (staff could speak several languages), rooms are extremely clean. I travel for business and spend half my life in hotels. So, I know a clean room when I see it. The location could not be better. It is in the center of town. Parking is an issue in Cortina and the Olimpia has its own gated parking lot in the back with your own remote. So, it's very convenient. Outstanding fresh breakfasts are included with your stay. Internet area with very reasonable rates. They will do your laundry. The will do your laundry and it will be in your room later on. Sauna and whirlpool. Up-to-date weather forcasts for specific regions. Arranged for offsite massage. Very knowledgeable about any questions you can think of and generous with information.

In conclusion; I have recommended this to several friends who have stayed there and they all thanked me and had a great experience. The staff and owners could not be any better, in my opinion. RK Miller, Alpine, Utah US

Not really knowing anything about Cortina, we were just looking on the map for a good stop between our drive through the Dolomites and our next stop in Venice. Cortina turned out to be a lovely surprise. It is a former Olympic host city, that has many shops, great restaurants and Olympic sites you can still visit. The Hotel Olimpia was clean, had nice balconies with views of the town and surrounding beautiful mountains, and was in the heart of the city, making it easy to walk everywhere. The drive here from Castlerotto was harrowing. We are seasoned mountain drivers, having driven through mountainous areas of the US west many times and even Alaska and the Canadian Rockies. This drive had us praying a lot as oncoming traffic constantly disregards the center line and comes right at our side of the road, not to mention climbing four mountain passes, competing with multitudes of bicyclists, motorcycles, busses and logging trucks. Were we glad we did it? Absolutely, it was one of the most beautiful drives ever, but I'm glad it was my husband driving and not me! He even had to stop several times just to take a break and relax! We were glad to finally see the Hotel Olimpia!

I recently stayed at the Olimpia for a week and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.The staff are incredibly friendly and provided so much help both before and during my stay. The rooms are pleasantly decorated, very clean and are accurately reflected in the pictures on the hotel's website. The Olimpia is right in the centre of Cortina with lots of good bars on your doorstep. Beppe Sello was one of the best restaurants I went to and is walkable from the hotel. Ski buses to the various areas are also very nearby. The many positive reviews this hotel has received are well deserved!

The location of Hotel Olimpia was fantastic, right in the heart of the town so easy access to all the shops and the restaurants, and the ski lifts. Whilst on our stay I injured my knee and I have never witnessed such generosity from complete strangers other than that of all the hotel Olimpia staff. They went out of their way to help in any possible way including running around town and to and from their own homes to help. Although the long painful trip home may have been off setting to some, I can't wait to go back and visits the staff, hotel and atmosphere. I wish you the very best on your travels, and leave you with the highest of recommendations to choose Hotel Olimpia as your venue of accommodation. Kindest regards to all of the staff as well.
