FIRST OFF - Finding it is the most important part!! Go around the Boavista rotunda, turn up Nossa Senhora da Fatima (between the blue BPI? and red CTT? signs), turn right at the first set of traffic lights and then take the second right. The hotel will be on the left. Rua Dr Emilio Peres is a new street that most GPS can't locate, and we spent a "fair" amount of time driving around between Rua da Boavista and Avendida da Boavista :(
The free parking right out front was much appreciated, and the location was actually an ideal home base. The beds are a little hard though. The gentlemen at the front desk were always happy and helpful. The grocery store being so close was a handy thing, and there are lots of little restaurants closeby.
Having read other reviews we took laundry detergent, bar soap and dishwasher tabs. Take some dishwashing soap too. The apartments are well equipped, but need a few things. 1) a clock radio/alarm clock 2) a clothes drying rack 3) dish towels.
I highly recommend this place. The price is great, the service is great, the location is great.
