I loved how helpful, friendly, and cheerful the staff were. Rooms were minimalistic, but quiet and served the purpose for a very reasonable rate. Location is near main attractions. Only drawback is having to carry luggage up steep, narrow, winding staircase, because there are no elevators. The stay was worth this inconvenience, however.

great location right by the Leidseplein. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Went to a concert at the Ziggo Dome and the guy at the reception, sorry forgot his name, let me know how to get there the easiest and most convenient way. Room was very clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast spread was great too. Highly recommendable Hotel.

Extremely pleased with my stay here! Plenty of hot water for showers. The breakfast is excellent.

For those needing to do laundry, there are 2 self serve laundromats quite close by on Kerkstraat.

The hotel is close to anything you need in the city. It's not worth buying tram passes unless you have mobility issues. Just walk and enjoy!

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at Hotel La Boheme. I had a single room downstairs, and really couldn't fault much. It had everything I needed and I was very pleased by the selection of TV channels available - I've seen far less in higher rates places!

The reception team were great, breakfast was delicious, and Mimi the cat was adorable. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Hotel La Boheme - it was really well placed to get everywhere and they looked after you.

Stayed here in April for 3 nights with a group of friends. The hotel is easy to find - you just need to catch the 197 bus from the airport and the hotel is just around the corner from the bus stop at Leidseplein. The staff are friendly and helpful and will provide you with lots of information about attractions and their location. Rooms are clean and modern and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is very good with cereals, croissants, ham, cheese, yogurt, fresh fruit, tea, coffee and fruit juices. You can leave your luggage at reception after you check out and collect it later for no charge. We were even allowed to use their computer to check in to our return flights and print our boarding passes. If you plan a trip to Amsterdam and don't want to pay a fortune for accommodation I don't think you can go wrong with La Boheme.
