I stayed at the Warwick for a total of five nights in August and was very disappointed with the location of my room and restaurant service. When I reserved my room online directly with Warwick, I had asked for a quiet room but was assigned a third-floor double facing the Cornavin railway station. The traffic noise is unbelievable at all hours and I was glad to have brought my heavy duty ear plugs. Four star hotel? Not by any standards: dated decor, wilted flower display in the lobby, and the stale air in the hallways etc. Service at the front desk and lobby is satisfactory but don't get me started on the restaurant service. I ordered Perrier with my meal without lemon. I was presented with a small glass of Perrier with a piece of lemon floating on top. When I sent it back for a new glass of Perrier without lemon, it was returned with the same glass of Perrier with the lemon removed. While checking out, they could not find the bill for the meal since it had not been posted so after 10 minutes of rummaging through stacks of restaurant bills and locating mine we finally squared accounts. Three weeks later, I was charged an extra 5 euros on my Mastercard for no reason. Not what I call four-star service for this hotel brand.
