I stayed at the Warwick for a total of five nights in August and was very disappointed with the location of my room and restaurant service. When I reserved my room online directly with Warwick, I had asked for a quiet room but was assigned a third-floor double facing the Cornavin railway station. The traffic noise is unbelievable at all hours and I was glad to have brought my heavy duty ear plugs. Four star hotel? Not by any standards: dated decor, wilted flower display in the lobby, and the stale air in the hallways etc. Service at the front desk and lobby is satisfactory but don't get me started on the restaurant service. I ordered Perrier with my meal without lemon. I was presented with a small glass of Perrier with a piece of lemon floating on top. When I sent it back for a new glass of Perrier without lemon, it was returned with the same glass of Perrier with the lemon removed. While checking out, they could not find the bill for the meal since it had not been posted so after 10 minutes of rummaging through stacks of restaurant bills and locating mine we finally squared accounts. Three weeks later, I was charged an extra 5 euros on my Mastercard for no reason. Not what I call four-star service for this hotel brand.

I stayed in this hotel for two weeks. The location is not so charming because it is in front of the train station but it is good if one has to move with public transport to go to work. My room was very good, quiet, bright and clean, although some days it was left without cleaning (I was told that in case of long-stay, cleaning is done every other day, but it was the first time I experienced that in a hotel of high standards). There is not a fitness center but the hotel has an arrangement with some gyms in the city offering, in my opinion, a great service . There is also a multiplex cinema nearby and the restaurants' quartier is also very close . Service management is not optimal, certainly not up to what you are expecting from hotels of high level: laundry service is unreliable (I asked twice to both the ladies at the floor and the concierge and at evening i found them still dirty inside the bag); I asked twice without success that a suitcase holder was removed from the room (I found it inside the closet crushing the clothes). It is absolutely a good hotel but for what it costs maybe you can find something better.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no gym or fitness center in the Warwick Geneva. I believe the previous poster's unhappy experience involves one of the gyms to which the Warwick sends people. I thin k this should have been more clear.

The staff are quite friendly. When I asked for directions, they were happy to help me out. But one thing that irked me was that they wanted to charge me 10 Swiss Francs just to heat up some pizza that I bought from Pasta d'Oro. Most 4 star hotels or even 3 star ones will heat up my food for free!

The gym is horribly equiped. The weights are not laid out properly, in fact kept in the aerobics room. The counter staff was quite rude. I don't know if it was because I didn't speak French but English. SHe did not volunteer to pass me a towel, or give me a lock, basic things that should be given in a gym. Also, she looked a bit upset that I interrupted her lunch to ask her where to leave the towel and lock. The gym is called Silhouette. I'll try not to go there again.

Room is ok. Basic. Not fantastic for the price I pay. THe TV is flat screened, has CNBC and Bloomberg, plus sports channels, so it's quite suitable for a male traveller working for the financial industry.
