We spent a night with our family (kids 8 and 11) at the Hilda, and it was fantastic. The location is excellent, an easy 5-10 minute walk from the Duomo. We had a room on the top floor with a bedroom, a living room with sleep couch, and an extra cot. The room also had a very nice small kitchenette, 2 big screen TV's, and a very nice bathroom with full shower. The hotel offered valet parking for about 25 euro per day, and we used the service gratefully. The hotel was upscale, modern, and clean. We really loved everything about it, and would go back in a hearbeat. hard to imagine a better family layout in a city unless you rent your own apartment.

Loved the Residence Hilda---very spacious, very clean, great location. Decided the first day of arrival that I could easily live there full time! My sister, daughter & I really enjoyed being able to cook, especially after being on the road for the 3rd week straight week. And loved not having to do the dishes. Would definitely stay there again & would highly recommend it to everyone.

We stayed here for 3 days and had a great time. The location is very central on the north side of the Duomo and 2 blocks to the Accademia. Our rooms were large suites with kitchens and extra beds for the kids. The bathrooms were had a fine level of finish and everything looked as if it was still new.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

What a treat to have a lovely, immaculate,large hotel room with friendly knowledgeable staff, close to all the main sites of Florence. And what a benefit to have a small well equipped kitchen with fridge, to retreat to in the heat of the July afternoons. We ordered grocieries ahead ( fruit, cheese, wine) and made our own small breakfasts and picnic style lunches almost every day. We were close enough to the center to walk everywhere and return to the hotel for an afternoon break. Francesco was SO helpful. Every restaurant he recommended was top-notch; he helped us with maps and pre-booking tickets to exhibits and concerts. I would not bother looking elsewhere when I return to Florence.
