The perfect locationfor the Duomo and other major attractions.Plus a short walk from the train station. The inn is very modern and tastefully decorated with comfy beds and a computer with free internet in your room. Breakfast, congenial hosts and quiet surroundings make this a true gem. I would highly recommend Tourist House Ghiberti for Florence accomodations.

Spent 3 nights in Florence, and the Tourist House Ghiberti was the perfect place to spend them. Great location, very close to the Duomo and a 5 minute walk to train station. Huge room with king size bed, great TV, and immaculate bathroom. Breakfast was a treat, either indoors or outdoors - very tranquil setting away from the hustle and bustle. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend it highly.

Five years ago we stayed at this wonderful inn, and on this trip we planned our stay in Florence around the availability of getting a room at Tourist House Ghiberti. Last time we had a large room facing the street, and this time a smaller, but equally nice room facing the patio. Both were great! We spent 4 nights this time. The sauna and hot tub were fun to use after long days of sightseeing, the breakfasts were wonderful, everything is spotless. Claudio has thought of everything and has continued to add more creative touches to the rooms--such as the TV speakers and reading lights on the headboard of the huge Kingsize bed--so comfortable! It's VERY quiet and we felt very much at home. We would not stay anywhere else in Florence.

The tourist house is locatated two minutes max walk from Duomo. Almost anything you could want to see is 10 to 15 minute walk in any direction. The location is secure. Traveling with an 8 year old we never felt concerned even very late at night. The room we had was large with nice sized bath and internet. Breakfast was typical European. There really wasn't a single issue. Every question was answered. Good food recomendations. Florence is easily accessable if you stay in the center which the tourist house is and at very reasonable pricing. Bring good shoes.
