Very friendly and generally civilised small independent hotel. Room decor (especially the bathroom) a little eighties kitsch but the building itself and the communal sitting areas and terrace are lovely with elegant antique furniture . The staff were super helpful, the breakfast fresh and varied (although the tiny plates meant a few return trips to the buffet). And of course great value - a family room sleeping 4, and free parking, within ten minutes walk of the centre, for 140 Euros in August.
Useful cafe next door for life's necessities (ice cream, beer and coffee). A pleasant ten minute walk to the major sights, closer to some great restaurants a little off the beaten track.
