“Loved staying here - the owners really take care of you”

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. The owners were very helpful and extremely hospitable. They treated you like family. Although it is probably a little far to walk to the downtown area, it is easy to get there by car or by a bus that stops very near the hotel. You can also drive to a big parking lot that has frequent shuttles into the heart of downtown. Better than trying to drive into and park in Florence. Very peaceful and quite. Wonderful experience!

“Didn't told us about construction works in hotel”

We went to this places in our honeymoon - we read their description:"..it will make your holiday an ideal residence for its harmony, natural beauty, elegance and peace" (hostelworld.com) also reviews were nice. So we thought it would be a perfect place for our honeymoon, so we could peacefully rest, stay in bed, enjoy nice Tuscany view and "jacuzzi with panoramic countryside views" (booking.com). In reality we had small room, with windows on car parking place. Behind the parking were construction works, 3-4 tractors and workers, who started noising at ~7:30 in the morning. Yes, behind all this noisy staff was Tuscany view... In evening, hoping have a rest at least that time, some one was driving in and out the parking place, and always there was same people who smocked beneath our window. In the end: no promised harmony, natural beauty and peace =(
I am glad that this hotel is making upgrade and they are going to have a pool, but they should informed us about these construction works, so we could find an other place for our honeymoon. More over, we wrote them that we are coming on our honeymoon and they just ignored it. I think 120 EUR for a night isn't cheap at least not for the service which we had. Our honeymoon was truly damaged :((

P.S. My best opinion is only about a girl who served breakfast.

In regards to the complaint of our clients on there Honeymoon. At Villa I Giullari, we go out of our way to make our clients stay memorable. The moment when these two honeymooners, stayed with us, we were in the process of finishin our garden and jacuzzi, but at no time was the view obstructed. All of our rooms are sound proof, and I recommended to our client to close her windows.
We would like to offer this client a return visit to our Villa, as the jacuzzi and garden are now finished. We understand how impoortant a honeymoon is and at Villa I Giullari, we do our best to make your stay the most magical and memorable. Very little so we have a complaint, but when we do we are deeply sorry, and wish to reconcile.

“Living "la dolce vita" in the posh quarters of Florence”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 May 2010

This B&B is the perfect place for a lovely relaxing Italian getaway holiday and the perfect location to discover Tuscany by car. It's very close to the "autostrada" and all major cities (Pisa, Lucca, Siena, Pistoia, Arezzo, ...) are a 2-hour-drive away tops. The "must sees" are San Gimignano, Volterra and Montepulciano though (you may always contact me for tips and information). Florence city is the nearest of course, but it's quite a long walk by foot (plus the way back is all uphill, which takes you even longer) so we recommend to take the car or buss down into the city center. VILLA I GIULLARI is located in the quiet and posh "villa" quarters just outside the busy city center of Florence and offers a relaxing stay in beautiful Italian style rooms, with great views, a lovely breakfast each morning, and not to forget the warm hospitality of Guidetta and Teneil. Don't be afraid to ask them for anything! I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to discover Florence & Tuscany and experience the relaxed and refined Italian way of life. -------- PS: We were allowed to bring our dog (pug, small breed) and got offered a special groundfloor room with it's own entrance and closed private garden which was so nice of the owner. It made our stay (and especially this of our dog) even more enjoyable! -------- PS: B&B VILLA I GIUALLARI is currently redesigning their garden and adding a swimming pool so from summer 2010 your stay should be even more enjoyable!!!

The Villa is nestled above florence with amazing views of the Tuscan country side. It was truly aslice of heaven. There is a nice resturaunt nearby as well. The room were very clean and tastefully designed. I really cant wait to return. Thank you Guidetta and staff

“Super BB on the hills of Florence”

Hospitable, friendly and very well situated: for us the ultimate location for a short trip to Florence. The rest of the area, 20 minutes walk from the beautiful city. Private and very friendly service. Absolute must.
