“A Romantic and Convienent Treasure in Tuscany”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 March 2010

Me and my husband spent three nights at VillaI Giullari. I was more then pleased with the service and hospitality, the owner and her staff provided us. The Villa is nestled above florence with amazing views of the Tuscan country side. It was truly aslice of heaven. There is a nice resturaunt nearby as well. The room were very clean and tastefully designed. I really cant wait to return. Thank you Guidetta and staff

“Super BB on the hills of Florence”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 March 2010

Hospitable, friendly and very well situated: for us the ultimate location for a short trip to Florence. The rest of the area, 20 minutes walk from the beautiful city. Private and very friendly service. Absolute must.

“Absolutely perfect!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 November 2009

We spent three nights at Via I Giullari during our stay in Italy. It was exactly what we were looking for in a B&B - quiet location, fantastic views, well-appointed bath, a sense fof privacy, and a great hostess. The breakfast was well-executed european fare - a selection of Italian hams and cheeses, brioche, cerals, fresh fruits, breads. We were lucky enough to be one of only two couples in the B&B when we were there. I can't say enough about our hostess; she was accomodating, helpful, and gave us great tips for local restaurants and destinations.

One thing to point out is that this B&B is not in Firenze proper, but is just outside the city on the hillside. You can walk into town or to some of the nearby restaurants, but you should probably plan to use taxis or the bus for most travel into the city. Walking down the hill into town is a fine 15-20 minute stroll; coming back up the hill with shopping bags or just tired after a day of sight-seeing may be more than you want to attempt. The good news is that the bus stop is literally only 25 yards from the property entrance. We found this to be a fair trade for the quality of the property and lack of city noise.

When we go back to Italy, we will stay here again. We wouldn't even consider another location in Firenze.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 November 2009

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. The hotel was beautiful and in a lovely setting with wonderful views. The hotel staff were very accommodating, and the breakfast was lovely.
It was a a 20 minute walk into Florence and the walk is well worth doing as its very picturesque.

“Fabulous doesn't do this place justise!!!!!!!!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2009

We stayed here for 3 nights...wasn't near long enough. Would definitely return. Loved the country ambience, though was close to Florence central by taxi or bus. Guidetta and her husband were great... made reservations, called taxis for us. She made delicious fruit tarts for the incredible breakfasts. I am disabled and was unable to ascend stairs to breakfast, so they kindly delivered a large tray each morning. Ground floor apartment was delightfully furnished, cozy with sunny patios with gorgeous views. Loved, loved, loved it all!!
