“Fabulous doesn't do this place justise!!!!!!!!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2009

We stayed here for 3 nights...wasn't near long enough. Would definitely return. Loved the country ambience, though was close to Florence central by taxi or bus. Guidetta and her husband were great... made reservations, called taxis for us. She made delicious fruit tarts for the incredible breakfasts. I am disabled and was unable to ascend stairs to breakfast, so they kindly delivered a large tray each morning. Ground floor apartment was delightfully furnished, cozy with sunny patios with gorgeous views. Loved, loved, loved it all!!

“A peaceful retreat near Florence”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2009

Villa a Giullari is a wonderful place to stay when you want to be near Florence and in the countryside at the same time. With it's views into the olive-covered hills and its extremely hospitable hosts, one could hardly find a nicer place to stay. The breakfast is generous and fresh and coffee with milk is available (for those who don't want to start their day with a high-wattage Italian espresso). It is true that it is not a 15 minute walk to the city, however this is well made up for by the friendliness of the staff and the comfort and beauty of the rooms.

“silent place in hectic florence”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 October 2009

A very nice B&B (or call it a hotel with just breakfast) just outside historical Florence. Nice (recently renovated) rooms in a quiet surrounding, it's nice to wake up and have a view over the Tuscany hills... Very friendly staff (lovely Erika) with good advice (reserved for us a sublime restaurant (Cibrèo - you have to go there !!!), calling for a taxi, maps of Florence...) and everything with a smile! It takes a 20minutes walk to the Ponte Vecchio, or just take a taxi for 10€). Only minor point is that our room was not completely sound proof, we somethimes had noice from the neighbour room, but not in a disturbing way.

“almost perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 October 2009

Whe stayed in the villa for 5 nights. There is hardly anything which is not excellent, except for the rooms which could be beter ' noise proof '. Would certainly recommend the villa as THE place to stay. This is a very good place to stay for both visiting Florence as well as for a Toscan tour.

“A Home Away From Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 September 2009

Villa i Giullari is truly a great place to Stay.
The couple who runs the hotel make you feel at home with their services and friendliness.

My wife and I stay three nights with our 33 month daughter and 10 month old son.
The owner Guido & Guidetta make you feel right at home with their friendly attitude and well kept apartment style hotel.
It’s a 45 minute walk from the center of Florence, but there is a bus that runs every hour right outside the gate.

The whole are is beautiful and very relaxing.

We would definitely recommend this location to anyone, specially to couples and families with young kids.
