Four friends and I stayed at the Catalan B+B in Alghero, Sardinia, for two nights last weekend and would really recommend it as a great place to stay. It's locaton was convenient to the Old Town (about a 5-10 minute walk) yet far enough away to feel like you were in a "local" area.
The flat itself was very clean and comfortable, and the shower was piping hot (something of a rare commodity in Europe!)
Our hostess Loredana was extremely helpful and accommodating.
