We stayed at this hotel between the 27/06 through to the 01/07. The hotel is in a great location and walking distance between the Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square.
Then hotel staff were helpful every time we came into contact with them and the breakfast was great before setting off for a full day of exploring. The hotel even provide you with a map to get you started.
The room was a good size and the bathroom was ok, small but manageable.
The is a abr outside the hotel called Teamo and they normally stay open until about 10pm. Great little stop off before heading back to the hotel for the night. We found no issues eating out or getting along with the Italians. Our gondola ride cost us 30 euros, could have been 20 euros but we decided to go for the grand tour which lasted 40 mins. I know some of the reviews say a gondola can cost up to 80 euros, however we didn't find this to be the case and we only spoke to one chap before paying him the fare for the ride.
Venice is expensive and it is maybe better to stop off at the small pizza cafe and grab a large slice of pizza and a bottle of pop and continue your stroll. A slice costs next to nothing and is very filling, plus cheaper then having a sit down lunch, all depends what you fancy.
San Marco Sq is expensive as are the shops, however surprisingly the shops on the Rialto were not too bad, just shop around to get a competitive price.
All in all the hoilday to Venice was awesome and this hotel was a great find.
