It´s almost like walking up to a giant spaceship. San Siro really is an amazing football stadium and if you visit Milan during season you really should try and catch a game. An incredible experience. There is a newly built subway station named San Siro, so it´s really easy to get to and from the stadium.
I went to San Siro with my friend who is an AC milan fan. It's extremely easy to get there (by metro M5 to station san siro stadio, which gets you right in front of the stadium).
ticket costs 17 euros for museum and stadium tour, you can enter whenever you arrive. they have directions to guide you through and a guide every few meters to help you if you have any questions. you get to see the changing rooms of AC milan and inter, the inside of the stadium (which is huge!!) and the museum. It was a quick tour but you can sit wherever you want and take pictures. however the museum is small for two of the biggest teams in italy.
To get here, purchase an all day train ticket for €5 approx, and get on the metro. Incredibly easy to get there from centrale!
The ticket was €17 pp, which includes stadium tour self guided, store and museum access.
I wanted to have my photo taken in Milan gear, so I asked the guard if I could go to the store and come back to the stadium (as there are turnstiles). He was happy to, and even took the photo!
The museum was small but info packed. All inter and Milan history about players, trophies and important matches is here.
If you go to the store, don't forget that if you spend more than €155 to ask for a tax form.
17€ for just a short view of the changing rooms, the inside of the stadium and a very small museum. I'm not surprised at all there's less and less visitors.
Realy must have for even occasional fans. Very good connection with metro M5. Well organized tour. Fantastic museum. Nothing special in the store. Overall really worth to visit.
