This hotel was okay. The breakfast was included in our booking, I don't know if it is standard. The breakfast was not set as it looks on the pictures of the hotels homepage. A little less good in real life. The rooms was okay, nothing special to complain about. The room was cleaned every day. Minibar in rooms (EXPENSIVE).
The only thing I thougnt was bad was the crew in the reception. Not willing to help, not even willing to call for a taxi the last day. "-Come back 5 minutes before you want the taxi", was the answer instead of "-YES SIR" !
Great location, only 5 minutes walk from city center (DUOMO church).

Buss price from Malpena airport to trainstation ~ 7-8 euro /each.
Taxi price from trainstation to Lloyd Hotel ~ 10-12 Euro.

Stayed in August of 2005. Great location for the center of the city. It was a 3 minute walk, and a very easy one at that, to the center where the shops, big mall, and the famous Duomo are. The hotel rooms are ok, comfortable with small shower and tv, a/c. The breakfast was plentiful and decent... not amazing, but definitely a good start to the day. The breakfast room was cute. The lobby is quaint and old world style. The front desk i would give a 7 out of 10, helpful, but seemed bored with the advice. I stayed in the standard single and it was fine. If your looking for a good price for the best location, this is a good pick.

I recently spent a few nights here as part of a 3 week trip around Italy with my partner and 2 children aged 9 and 13.

The location is great - just a 5 minute walk from Duomo and the main square.

The rooms were very clean and spacious and the service from Hotel staff was very helpful and free of the bad attitude we encountered in some other parts of Italy (ie ROme)

The hotel seems popular with business travellers, rather than just tourists. Some great clothing shops are nearby.

All things considered, we were really pleased to stay here as we had a disappointing experience in Rome and had heard reports that hotels in Milan were more expensive and offered even less value for money.

The room is clean but the decor needs some uplifting as it is currently bare/plain looking/ old fashion for a 4 star hotel. I find the bed and pillows hard and uncomfy.
Location wise - abt 10-15 mins walk to the Duomo. No grocery store/restaurants nearby.
Bfast was good, however one of the waiter has a bad body odour, everytime he entered the small dining room, i had to hold my breath!
Staff at the reception was not so friendly, not pleasant looking.
